Strategy Computers in Seattle, WA suddenly closed down as well- Sounds like the same type of situation. Supposedly the students are going to get any prepaid money back as per their enrollment agreement, however that does not take into account all the effort and hard work already put in, as well as job placement, and help with the tests they had promised after completion of their program. Reading the comments above, it is clear that a lot of people have been let down by this company. With the current economic climate, its a good idea to check the financial position of your training provider. Unfortuantely, this is not an isolated case. Hopefully, some lessons learned for the future.

I am a former Instructor. First I would like to say, all the instructors I know cared about their students and their success. We were in no way a part of this fiasco other than to teach the masses set before them. We were told students can contact their state agencies for a possible Refund and/or alternate school to finish their studies. I was also told we had put up a surety bond in each state just for this reason. Each state varies in the amount of the bond and depending on the amount of students that bond is basically split as a refund for them if classes did not finish. And yes, we were not paid for the month of December at all! This is clearly fraud in my opinion, the owner and top executives should be put up on criminal charges!

I was a student up in the Quincy area of MASS, got the email and at first i thought it was a joke, however my instructer sent me an email as well confirming it. At least I can say i obtained my 70-620, and we just finished up with 70-290 so i guess now i will have to study hard and try to pass that while tryin to figure out what to do with the loan..

Just talked to the career placement at the Blue Ash center, they didn;t find out about the closing till after the student receieved the email... to make matters worse they are not sure if they will get paid for Decemeber..

I am a student at the Troy campus in Michigan. We were schedueled to finish in March. I received this e-mail this morning addressed to everyone in my class.

Subject: School Closure

Dear Student:

It is with deep sadness and regret that Computertraining.edu announces it will cease operation and close all of the Computertraining.edu schools, effective immediately. These actions are due to circumstances beyond the Company’s control. There will be no further classes held at any of our schools.
This letter serves as written notification that all future inquires should be directed to your state agency listed below:
